I was taken to task by some when I suggested that at least some of MAIAs IP might still be intertwined with Geron

The rights to the patent are transferred to Geron, giving credit to Sergei as inventor. Looks like we're still best buds.

6 thio DG is a guanine analog. It can be administered orally or by other routes. Could this and other variants be the oral agent Dr. Scarlett alluded to? Anyone with knowledge of patents invited to comment.

Looks like Geron could buy MAIA for (and return Sergei to the fold?) for about 42M.
