PPS: The Sequel

Post by KTArsenal »

Let's discuss the (current PPS decrease) elephant in the room (from a Three Stooges perspective ):

Curly Howard: “What do y’take me for, some kinda idiot?”
Moe Howard: “Yes.”

Curly: “I can’t see! I can’t see!”
Moe: “What’s the matter?”
Curly: “I got my eyes closed!”

Curly: “We’re not ordinary people…we’re morons.”

Moe: “Didn’t you go to school stupid?”
Curly: “Soitenly, and I came out the same way! Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.”

Curly: “I’m tryin’ to think but nothin’s happenin’.”

Larry: “Fish is GREAT brain food!”
Moe: “Then you should fish for a whale.”

Curly: “I’m a victim of soicomstance! Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.”

Moe: “I thought I told you to wake me up when the sun come up!”
Curly: “It was raining.”
Moe: “Remind me to murderlize you tomorrow.”

Shemp: “Moe, how do you like your eggs?”
Moe: “Fried and without the shells.”
Curly: “Where you gonna find a chicken like that.”
Moe: “Remind me to murderlize you in the morning.”

Shemp: “This stock, Moe, it’s a sure winner! I’ll put everything I got on it!”
Moe: “How much is that?”
Shemp: “Whatever’s in your pocket…”
Moe: “Yeah?”
Shemp: “Minus that!”
Moe: {two fingers to the eyeballs}

If you smiled once, task complete.

Cheers to my friends at iChat.

Here’s to hoping that we haven’t invested in Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe…nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.

As always, cheers

Post script:

We’ll be ok, numbers don’t lie. BAT/small biotech takes time to show results. IMpact on the horizon.

Please try to keep your collective chins up.

“A stock is never as good as they say, and never as bad as you think.”

I think that was a Groucho quote, or something similar to it.

Cheers 🍻

Definitely not Groucho. It was some financial guy. Now Groucho did exclaim (not relevant to the present discussion, but while we are trying to induce smiles,) upon hearing a female contestant on “You Bet Your Life” who told him she had 13 children: “Lady, I like my cigar, but I take it out of my mouth sometimes!”

Total Groucho. Always worth a toast to the Marx brothers.

Lots of comedians are unemployed and you exemplify their unemployment.

Some people are great at parties.

Some people are a party to greatness.

And then there’s Jayfish.

Even for you—that’s some big shoes to fill, Jayfish. I prefer Sinatra’s version, but Judy blue-eyes’ version is also worth the big top ticket.

3 Stooges, wow to say the least. One of the best comedy teams ever.

Others that are up there with them and no particular order.

Bud Abbot and Lou Costelo "Who's on First" routine

Red Skelton's "Guzzler Gin" routine

Laurel & Hardy's classic movie "Sons of the Desert" - When Stan ate the wax fruit, hilarious.

Jonathan Winters "Baseball" routine

Tim Conway "The Dentist" and "Oldest Man" routine.

Rodney Dangerfield - "No Respect"

Just a few and some if not the best comedians, ever.

Loved Kinison and so did Dangerfield. Remember “Back to School” when Kinison appeared as the professor that was apparently suffering from PTSD? 😂

Seinfeld told a great Rodney story once:

So, all these comedians were playing Vegas and it was time to party and hit the casino floor. Pit bosses opened up a high-limit game for all the comedians that were playing a charity gig, and drinks were flowing while the jokes were flying about. Enter Dangerfield.

He comes up to the table with an envelope full of money and throws it at the stick man. Stick man says, “what kind of bet do you want, sir?”

Rodney says, “just keep it. That’s how this f*cking game works for me, anyhow.”

Everyone laughs and they give him the envelope back. Rodney says, “hey, I’m glad you got the joke.”
