Two very impressive additions to the board today. One appears to be very experienced with companies that get bought out.

Jay, Geron has been trying to be acquired for a long long time with board members that have come and gone with experience in these matters. The equation is really different now of course. They have income, ongoing studies, an approved drug, money in the bank and the impending interim analysis of IMpact. Upcoming also is the May shareholders meetings and a spate of scientific meetings that should provide open windows into IMprove, and IMagine as well as long awaited animal combination studies from Dr. B who has been notably silent for 2 years. Considering the pattern of new data every other year, I would be hopeful this is the year for updates in all these areas. Many potential events to make Geron even more attractive to suitors. I suppose we could add EU to the list but uptake there limited by reimbursement issues. bp
