I have recently been made aware of Aron Feingold's departure from Geron. Any of you who have had personal contact with Aron knows how professionally she handled requests for information. Aron thank you for your professionalism and courtesy. I will follow your career trajectory with great interest and wish you the best. bp

Public relations department can only be as good as those in charge of public relations.
Geron hasn’t been great in that department since approval, which seems to be a waste of resources from those of us on the outside. PR isn’t very important if you’re trying to sell the company, but you also don’t hire top talent PR if your intentions aren’t to use PR to your advantage.
Geron certainly has a confusing business model. There’s certainly a lot of fat to trim beyond a lackluster PR department and an aging CEO if you’re trying to sell the company to the highest bidder, that’s for sure.
My opinion is: Wednesday won’t give retail shareholders much relief. I’ll change my tune when Geron decides it’s time to change theirs.
As always,
Cheers

i do not know what this means for Geron- I do not know what she did for a full-time position to justify her salary and that goes for many of the people who have been hired the last few years. The stock is 1.38 a share when it was over 5 dollars a year ago. The critical MF study which should have been completed in May of 24 is still not enrolled and has repeatedly been delayed. Geron could not provide imetelstat to patients due to inadequate supply. How the hell does that happen? We have European approval but is anything being done for that? My patience is done and I have no time to thank people for their kindness for their responses - I need results. This goes to everyone at Geron - do your damn job or leave

KT and RC,many overt flaws that slow this train down. The did hire about 140 people this year all of whom I would hope get some strict orders and expectations. As to IR they just carry out the orders of the high ups not much they themselves can do to raise the stock price if they have little to work with. Its gonna take and army and it seems that they are trying that approach now. Our gripes are not with the IR dept, it is squarely with management and the painfully slow process of clinical studies as well as the paucity of presentations at scientific meetings, as well as the absence of patient and physician testimonials as well being presented with a clear vision for the future etc etc. One hopes Ms. Bir will recognize the importance of every word she says. At the very least we can follow stanleyock’s cogent recommendations and vote our shares accordingly. All are encouraged to write to the BOD of Geron in any case before the May stockholders meeting.
