Focus on the tell

So it basically comes down to this:
1. Your view of the prospects of this company, a CA and a possible buyout are guided by the actions of this lawyer. See the discussion on SA for further details. Your view is therefore very dim. Do you really wish your view of the prospects of Imet to be guided and be so heavily influenced by this guy? Really?
2. Your view of the prospects of this company, a CA and a possible buyout are guided by the job notice. You consider that notice real and a very strong indication as to where JNJ is headed w/ Imet. Your view of GERN remains positive.
I chose the latter. It’s the job posting that speaks to me. It’s the job posting that matters. It is the job posting that is the biggest tell we are had ever received in the history of this company. It is to our great advantage that this posting may be premature, a mistake, something that should not have been released at this time.
It is therefore VERY FORTUNATE that we have the job posting simultaneously with the actions of this lawyer.
What JNJ has to say about this job posting is completely meaningless to me and CYA statement. The important point is they did not deny the job posting, did not state that the posting has nothing to do with them or with reality. Whatever else they did or did not state is irrelevant. Someone apparently screwed-up—to our advantage.
Finally the actions of this lawyer confirm every single doubt I have been raising about the management of this company for a long time. Every. Single. One. This one of the most mismanaged companies I have ever witnessed or in which I have ever held shares. It is utterly consistent and completely amazing. When the time comes to realize the profit on my investment this blatant mismanagement will make the decision to take profits and get out much easier.
But that fact does not bother me at the moment. My goal is to make money from this investment and I will. If the stock sells-off on Monday and how can it not? I will be a buyer if it reaches a low enough price.
Go w/ everything you have learned about Imet. Do NOT allow the actions of this lawyer to override everything you have learned. Focus on the tell.
