ct trials update

Looks like about half the sites (roughly 37 out of 72) sites are now active in the Janssen MF study. Should not take long for this study to be fully enrolled. Give the rapid time to drug effect (for those in whom it occurs), one hope the timeline for data will be accelerated. This might have relevance for EU approval which I suspect may precede US approval. It looks like they are not showing an actual "update" on the ct trials page, just showing more sites on line periodically without much fanfare. Lets hope! bp

Thanks for that, Bio. More often people say approval may go faster in the EU. How does that come? Are there any sources/statistics on that? And what about Asia?

Fisher, truth is I have no idea. I did just review the FDA breakthrough designation info. Many designations on the basis of small phase I or II studies. Surely the data in both of Dr. T's Sept NEJM articles should qualify. bp

Would be nice to know, though. Hoosier, Irish and others: any way to find out? I will do some research anyway.

Fisher, thank you for keeping this board clear of the garbage that was posted here recently. I can't quite get what is to be gained by posting irrelevant ramblings that were here and have been thankfully deleted presumably by our esteemed editor (that would be you). This board will take off but it may take a while once people are serious about having relevant discussions as we get more data. Regards and thanks again, bp

I have removed a couple posts now. Not too bad. We'll see how this board develops. Probably there will be more activity once there are new developments. Won't take too long, I guess. Whish Irish, sdrawkcabeman and a couple of others would start posting here. There are real good discussions on SA, but sometimes threads are a bit of topic and extremely lengthy.
