Anne S on ymb has noted the old study looking at imet in pediatric patients that was"withdrawn" before enrolling any one and sat on Ct site for years has had some inscrutable changes as os feb 8th. Fish maybe you can ask Anna as regrettably she no longer answers my emails. Bp

Anna only can answer questions that provide an answer for public use. I don't think any question on what's going on with this trial will be answered, as this is all confidential.
I took a look myself and I don't see the relevance of what has been updated. So the question for me is why they did these minor admin updates in the first place. Why would they make any changes to a study that is abandoned? I can't find any clues in the changes they did. If you look at the changes without hiding anything (means that non-changed texts are displayed) you see the withdrawal is 'due to contract issues' (see changes 2014_06_04, block 4). Interesting to know what that means.

Fish, my read is that a funding source was found apparently external to J and J. Whether they are contemplating actually doing the study now is of course unknown or whether some modification e.g. combo might move forward. I don't think its confidential, just that it might be non company sponsored. bp

No illusions here. This is what Anna answered when I asked about this NCT02011126 trial:
"The study you reference was going to be an investigator initiated study sponsored by the Children's Oncology Group, and was withdrawn several years ago, without being initiated. I don't know why the CT.gov entry was changed now (we don't control it). There are no plans to conduct this or any study in pediatric solid tumors. Best regards, Anna"
