HI Fisher, thanks for posting these patents. Since Geron shut down their research program I suspect these were filed long ago or from affiliated academic centers. The clinical trials site was updated as of yesterday with more sites recruiting... Irish if you read this I wonder if I could impose on you for some help in garnering some information that I have been seeking for a while regarding the ET trial. This trial remains listed as Imet in ET AND PV. I know there were two PV patients enrolled. They were never reported. Since the trial clearly meant initially to look at this subpopulation of MPS it remains a mystery as to why they were just "dropped". I can't imagine such highly regarded academics, including Dr. T. Dr. Synder and Dr. Boerlacher, would just not report already enrolled patients in a study, (that would be unethical and possibly skew data, so there must be a reason.) If there were CR or PR or CI surely they would have been reported. If there was no response or an adverse response, since they were enrolled, that should have been reported too. It just wasn't, and I just seek academic honesty and transparency and think it would be useful to know just what did happen to these patients. So far I have written to Anna K and to Dr. Boerlacher with no response from either. Why would they not wish the data to be in the public domain? Speculations anyone? Anyway if you are comfortable asking Dr. T when you see him I would be most appreciative, after all the study is now four years old and the question is not meant to be antagonistic. Should we (I say this hesitantly) try to ask the MPN forum if they have any info? Regards, and best holiday wishes from bp
