Repost from YMP courtesy of Kmall:

Denise Meyer - Medical Affairs Leader, Geron Corporation

August 19, 2021 - Geron Corporation (Nasdaq: GERN) reported that it has granted non-statutory stock options to purchase an aggregate of 550,000 shares of Geron common stock as inducements to newly hired employees in connection with commencement of employment with the Company. Denise Meyer is one of these newly hired employees.

Denise Meyer's previous employers include: Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Takeda Oncology, Amgen, Eli Lily, Grey Healthcare Group and Mount Sinai Hospital.

A few of Denise's previous job titles include:
*Takeda Oncology - Senior Director, Head of Global New Product Planning

*Amgen - Executive Director, Global Commercial Leader

*Amgen - Director, Global Oncology Marketing

*Eli Lily - Global New Product Planning Sr. Manager

Outside of Anil Kapur, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Geron Corporation, Denise is the FIRST MARKETING hire post JNJ-CD. Her resume speaks for itself.....she is a POWERHOUSE hire and addition to Team Geron. Focusing now on hiring employees in the Marketing/Commercialization space is a very positive sign from Geron moving forward. -Kmall

This is significant.
Marketing + Commercial + Medical Affairs.
HemOnc + large company.
Looks like US resources are being well poised.
No significant EU commercial resources... so likely still partner flame is on... not completely out.
