from kmall -- It appears (speculation time) that they both were tied to the FDA NDA acceptance since that announcement was in August. Perhaps any "consultation" role over the June (FDA submission) to August (acceptance) waiting period from the FDA was in place as a precautionary measure on Geron's behalf?

I suspect that the President of Vividion (Dr. Rizo) and the President of Geron (JS) have been in constant contact about Imetelstat and its possibilities going forward in various combinations (when NDA is FDA approved), especially with some Bayer AG's research molecules. It was Dr. Rizo that said that Imetelstat is, "compelling, remarkable and durable." It was JS that said Imetelstat is, "bigger than all of us".
Dr. Rizo and JS have vested interests in getting NDA approvals for patients' needs and to make money from a much higher Geron PPS.
