Re: A wonderful summation of the state of things

One could argue the FDA has pulled up the date of our ADCOM review. Dr. Scarlett previously indicated we should expect one a few weeks prior to the PDUFA date.

Re: 2023 - What a Long, Strange Trip it’s Been

I think we'll see an early readout on the Investigator led IMPress HR-MDS/AML trial before we hear anything on Imet 2.0. The first patient (1/45) was dosed in June and the trial was ~50% enrolled a couple months ago, and the recent Dr. Lane indicated positive results in his recent article. I would t...

Takeaways from today's update....

Thought I'd start a new thread to discuss what was said & heard in today's call. I haven't had an opportunity to review closely, but my high-level takeaways were as follows: Positives * Surprised by the breadth/depth of LR-MDS ASH posters. -- There are seven (7) imetelstat abstracts....with all seve...

Re: Link to Drs. Lane and Bruedigam

It’s very encouraging to hear Dr. Lane’s comment that they’re already seeing some positive signs in the AML trial….despite only being open for a couple of months. I wish they had provided more details about the lady (patient) who was interviewed at the end of the video. It would appear to be a patie...

Re: New article hit tip to several on YMB

That’s an excellent article….very thorough, informative, and compelling argument for Imetelstat as a treatment for AML. Nice to see Steven Lane (again) as one of the authors. FYI…..I copied & pasted the entirety of the article into ChatGPT and asked for a non-technical summary. It came back with the...

Re: What’s next?

I’m hoping for ASH posters involving IMproveMF (IMET + Ruxo) and additional pre-clinical data to support launching a P1 clinical trial for a Lymphoma indication in 2024. Further, Anil stated a while back they would announce their ex-US plans and/or partners in 2H23. I thought they would announce the...

Re: ASH Expectations...

Ryan / BP, The first patient in the IMpress trial was dosed only a couple of months ago (June 13th). Thus, I didn't see how we could have any meaningful data in time for an ASH abstract.....which were probably submitted in August. Are we expecting IMpress data in January? If so, I must've missed tha...

ASH Expectations...

My hopes for this year's ASH meeting are outlined below...... 1) Initial patient data on the IMPROVEMF clinical trial. Our first patient was dosed in Aug'22. An indication of tolerable dosage protocol and/or favorable patient outcomes associated with the Imet + Ruxo combination will signal a legitim...

Revenue Booking rights and Royalty Rates will also be considerations in the selection of their (our) ex-US partner. As a reminder, our prior deal with Janssen was going to see us get a ~10%-15% royalty on sales....with Janssen booking the revenues. If we select a smaller "regional" distribution part...

Re: Shareholders meeting

BP et al I submitted two (2) specific questions regarding the Ex-US licensing outcome.... 1) Should we expect a materially significant upfront milestone payment(s) associated with licensing the ex-US rights? 2) Should we expect the licensee to help cover a portion of future clinical trial expenses i...

Re: Baker Brothers take a 3Million+ share bite........

For years, we heard about how the "smart money" would wait to better understand the clinical trial results, competitive landscape, and commercial opportunity before making their investment decisions. We may now be witnessing the initial investments of some "smart money" players. FYI....I love how Ba...

Kmall, Awesome find (and news)!!! I've been waiting to read of such a development for several years now. FYI....Another fund name (Point72) caught my eye when I was scanning through the list. I recognized the fund name, but I couldn't place it. Drumroll.... Steve Cohen's fund appears to have also pu...

Poison Pill Observation (lack of...)

If Geron needs/wants the large share increase to provide "poison pill" protection (as Ryan suggests), then it would seem we're currently sitting in a position without an effective poison pill provision. Stated differently, Geron as an entity is currently unable to exercise a poison pill since most o...

I’d prefer RA Capital (our 9.99 percent owner) designate someone to fill one (or both) BOD seats. Personally,I’ll be voting “no” to Geron’s proposals.

Re: increase shares proposal

Make sure to vote "No" on behalf of your shares. Hopefully, RA Capital will vote their 49M shares (9.99 percent ownership) as "No" as well. BTW.....I wonder how RA Capital feels about being upside down on the shares they were allowed to purchase at a significant discount only a couple of months ago....

Thanks for posting the link. This is awesome news for all....except for the common shareholders of SVB. I feel bad for the common shareholders of SVB. Hard to imagine sitting on "X" number of shares worth ~$500/each a short time ago with them now being completely wiped out. Now, we're likely to see ...

Re: Silicon Valley Bank

Gov't and Federal Reserve officials would no doubt prefer a "hands-off" approach leaving SVC shareholders with complete loses and the bank's depositors protected only up to the $250K per account limit. Mitt Romney spoke earlier today advocating such a "tough-love" approach. However, I agree with Bil...

Re: Silicon Valley Bank

It seems likely that Geron had some cash reserves on deposit with SVB given the existing relationship (loan), proximity, size, services, and reputation of the bank. Thus, it will be a question for them to clarify in next week's meeting. How much did they have $$$ on deposit with SVB? What percentage...
