What to expect in the next month
I think we might see some activity on the following fronts: 1. Announcement of first patient dosed (imminent) along with an update of addition of new sites (North Dakota, Israel etc as outlined in new side presentation) along with changes in status to active in sites now designated as completed or i...

More insight into the Italian study (speculative)
As everyone knows the MF clinical trials site was updated on in July to reflect the addition of a single Italian site (that interestingly was the source of a study suggesting MOS of 22 months). Also during this time period Geron would have had to initiated application for fast track (FT is initiated...

Re: 57 P3 Site Locations and Counting?
rccola335, I think your math is correct and the total number of patients is as you say 225 but since the first 55 are not randomized, it is reasonable to suggest that part I will lack the statistical validity required by the FDA (no p value or Kaplan Meier curves). Part II should address this, but w...

Re: Fast Track for MF!
Thanks Ryan, you got to this before I did. It is welcome news. I think have a rolling submission process in place could mean that time to approval following the FDA meeting 1st quarter could be short. bp

A salute to Kmall
Kmall, well you have made a virtual trip around the world to our benefit and to the benefit of patients who may benefit from all of your efforts. Now on to the real world (I don't know if you realize that you are making a metaphorical evolution to RWD!). I salute your efforts to bring the Imetelstat...

A wild hope to keep this board relevent
Fellow board members, In a wild and perhaps unattainable hope, I have culled what appear to be the over 6500 bogus "requests" for posting privileges. To those (and it could only be one person for all I know) who are trying to destroy this board, I ask you in the kindest way to leave us alone and all...

Why the late addition of an Italian site to the MF study?
Why was there a late addition of an Italian site to the MF trial (which was no longer enrolling patients)? Well one might speculate that the "outlier" study: "18.Palandri F, Elli EM, Polverelli N, Bonifacio M, Benevolo G, Abruzzese E, Bergamaschi M, Tieghi A, Iurlo A, Crugnola M, Cavazzini F, Binott...

A comment on a recent job posting
From Geron's "career opportunities" posting: "The Clinical Project Manager (CPM) will manage one or more allocated Phase I through IV Clinical Trials that may be local, regional or global in scope. The CPM will be 100% accountable for the success of their projects." AFAIK, there is no P I and no P I...

Re: 57 P3 Site Locations and Counting?
I was pleased to get a prompt response from Jacob. The "completed" designation applies to part I of the study. I would hope these sites will be participating in part II but unless/until the clinical trials site is further updated we won't know. To summarize, "completed" does not mean those sites are...

Re: 57 P3 Site Locations and Counting?
There is an understandable amount of confusion in my mind as to the actual number of sites that will be actively enrolling in Part II of the P III study. Those listed as "completed" on the surface look like they have completed enrollment in part II and are ready to treat. However, I don't know if th...

Re: Similarities between Geron & PCYC by stiglg6 on YMB
Hunt, thanks for reposting this from YMB. I stiglg6 has followed Geron closely and made some interesting and valuable observations and while happy with the repost, he was not happy with the repost being on my moderated site. To me that is unfortunate. He has taken issue with me over my contention th...

Re: 57 P3 Site Locations and Counting?
Back in the USA! Sorry for the radio silence, have been on a long anticipated retirement trip of a couple of weeks.
