Re: ASH 2019

Hi Ryan, the abstract makes mention of the Part I results. If this were an oral presentation the think an update of the Part I data would be appropriate and probably part of the presentation. The poster however will probably just reflect the abstract as presented (but I would love to see more data t...

Re: Dr. Uwe Platzbecker

Ryan, thanks for posting. Good point. Interesting that the primary presenter is European and the big news clinical news seems to find its way to EHA over ASH. bp

The "other two" abstracts

First off, thanks to recent posters, hunt and commsman, for their contributions and thoughts. I wanted to mention the "other two" ASH abstracts related to Geron but not acknowledged in the recent PR. You can read them here (in addition to the two that Geron has referenced): https://ash.confex.com/as...

Re: The most important focus of the new MF abstract

STA, I don't think a new PIII could possibly start out of the gate until further lab studies, dosing studies, human safety studies etc were done. While synergism has its obvious benefits, the potential for synergistic toxicities also need to be evaluated. I think there is much work required before a...

The most important focus of the new MF abstract

To Ryan's point about AML, when the venetoclax/imet AML study was presented, I essentially went all in (not my smartest investment move), when it was stated that "cures" were effected in a number of mice. We all know that this did not translate into a clinical study, at least as yet, for opaque reas...

Re: Ash posters

Hi Ryan, thank you for your thoughts as usual. Yes it is clear the focus is on single agent use in the clinic now. Perhaps Geron felt it had enough to go to the FDA in Q1 with out providing additional RWD in the public domaine and didn't want to expend energy in this direction. Same for updating the...

Re: Ash posters

J Lennon actually said, "you may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one." He would have plenty of company on this board. There was no reason I can think of not to update the durability data for TI to further shore up further respect for drug effect, unless there is not. Usually silence is not n...

Re: Ash posters

Ryan, thanks for your post. I see this a little differently. 1. There is no mention of AML probably because the program is probably dead in the water and Scarlett always skirts this issue (its oh so complicated, etc). 2. There are only two(or three counting the one Geron did not mention in the compa...

Re: looks like the latest three posted jobs have been filled

STA, since those positions remain posted as of today, I think the ever parsimonious Scarlett will deal with this during whatever PR accompanies the Nov 6th "earnings" report and discussion of submissions to ASH. bp

Re: Q3 announcement coincides w ASH abstract release

musketeer, yes. That way they have something to talk about ("within the four corners of the abstract(s)). This will help to offset the terrible continuing hemorrhage (and dilution) of $$ as they run to the finish line (FDA meeting Q1). bp

Re: Molecular Mechanism of Telomere Length Dynamics and Its Prognostic Value in Pediatric Cancers

nerdy boy, thank you for posting this. There is no doubt that the telomere is an essential part of normal cellular physiology as well as cancer pathology. That Geron holds IP in this area and has the only telomerase inhibitor in the clinic should be of great value. And yet... Regards, bp

Re: looks like the latest three posted jobs have been filled

But oddly the web site has not been updated as of today 10/28. Perhaps the three positions that received inducement grants are not the same three jobs posted on the company site. Or perhaps the IR is just lazy. bp

Re: Dr. Rizo Abstracts

Hi Ryan, Agree it it highly likely we will see new abstracts submitted (and accepted) to ASH. We are in the home stretch before FDA Q1 meeting so ASH should give us a window as to what data will be part of the final presentation. That granting of fast track in MF followed the cut off date for abstra...

looks like the latest three posted jobs have been filled

PR today indicates inducement grants of 200,000 shares allowed toward three positions. Geron web site does not yet reflect, but it appears the three remaining posted jobs have been filled. Scarlett should be at fighting weight going into ASH and meeting with FDA Q1. Next quarterly update will likely...

Re: First patient dosed in part II MDS study

Zhears, I have to agree, its it taking a long time. I estimate we lost an entire year given Janssen's decision. They could have just started part II, tacked on to part I almost exactly one year ago. To your point specifically however, you would think patients would be lined up to enroll, even if 1/3...
