This patent appears to have been assigned to Geron in Feb 2020. You can decide for yourself whether it covers 6 thio dG.

Andrew, the issue with this patent is prior art. Yes, it includes 6-thio-dG... BUT, that chemical was already used in oncology a few times decades ago.
So it's up to a long, expensive patent-court duel with MAIA... and Regeneron.
