Yes we have seen a lot of dilution but how much would Janssen have spent to do the same for Imetelstat?

Re: The cost to develop a new drug
This $2B+ figure, will certainly factor into any BO or partnership considerations. -Kmall
Re: The cost to develop a new drug
My guesstimate is Geron is at about $1.7 Billion since 1997, specific to telomerase drug development, give or take $300 Million.
Re: The cost to develop a new drug
Hopefully JS can negotiate the cost of drug development as a bottom for a buyout. LOL. Seriously, since JNJ has never really left the building, I think things will all spin out in the wash. I don't expect much from Wednesday's Q4 and Annual Report and the conference call, but surprises are sometimes a possibility. Looking forward to ADCOM March 14.
Re: The cost to develop a new drug
Since Janssen funded 50% of both P2 CTs,
I would imagine Janssen spent $150-$300M if not more over the course of 4yrs. -Kmall
