Note Geron is the applicant on many of these and Sergei and Krisztina and some oldies like Dr. Harley, Dr. Ratain, Fabio, Dr. Shay et.al.coming back into the picture?
Have we come full circle?? Pretty sure Hoosier Investor has been keeping track of all things related to Geron patents and may be able to provide perspective.
Could it be that the respected lab searching for Imet 2.0 is tied back to Sergi, Dr. Shay, MAIA etc., e.t. al.?
Veeery interesting. I am going to try to start reading through these. Best regards to all, bp

Re: Have we come full circle? Cheng Ho’s fondest dream
From Mayo Clinic to MD Anderson. The early excitement about Imetelstat (IMET) started when Dr. Tefferi at Mayo found that IMET could do more than treat ET, where the term, "Tantamount to a cure" originated. Now new excitement & possibilities are now being defined by MD Anderson, whose primary missions are as both a cancer research center, and cancer treatment hospital.

MD Anderson can use Imetelstat (IMET) for cancer treatments, advance it by research, and endorse IMET internationally. They have found independently that IMET works well on blood cancers, and they are now pursuing other advanced applications, including combinations. MD Anderson, when it comes to cancer treatments and cures is world-class (likely #1).

Don't forget Ms. Dikmun's return, she's now on the MAIA science board.
