Over/Under on Full enrollment in MDS

Post by Ryan » Sun Feb 21, 2021 3:18 am

I’m guessing April 13th.

Completely wild guess but I would imagine they are well on track to enroll, as we’ve observed several new sites in the past months and Dr. Rizo did say she expected trial enrollment to accelerate as in most Phase III clinical trials. I read that quote as her knowing that trial enrollment was accelerating and she could pre-suppose the near future trend pretty confidently.

Hi Ryan, I like your prognostication. Under promise: enrollment by end of second quarter. Overdeliver: April 13. Considering 100 active sites need deliver 85 more enrollees and we are there. This might move top line date forward. Regards, bp

Thanks BP, I am going to revise my guess, to push it back exactly one week, still a Tuesday (news day). So, April 20th.

Why did I revise? Basically I felt that making my prognosticated date of 4/20 would prove exactly how half-baked it is... smoke em if ya got em! It passes the time to the inevitable NDA filing...

Per the yearly release hot off the press, we’re now looking at second half of the year for the full enrollment - so I am proven very long and let’s hope September -

65% currently enrolled.

Still firmly believe this trial will be successful and Imet approved.

I agree, in September GERN will finally have all the patients for one trial.

This delay was mostly the EU's fault for its pathetically bad vaccination programs. They are even worse than US FDA/CDC ineptitude.

And of course, only Turkey has made any use of the successful Phase 3 on NAD+ boosting vs. coronavirus.
