Yes FDA watching carefully. This warning for possible T cell cancers. No indication of such for Imetelstat but with such disordered genetics and “selection” of resistant clones in advanced disease you can be sure they will be watching.

You have not taken too many medical tests I guess. When there is no other right answers but enrollment in a trial is an option, that’s usually it. The drug trial is still enrolling and would offer this hypothetical patient the best approach.Totally legit test question.

This guy had to wait 5 years to feel good. The implications for earlier intervention and maybe front line may become obvious with more experience with the drug.

I am assuming he meant a rise in hemoglobin from 7.5 to 12.0 gm. Pretty impressive.
