Have at it kmall, I think we all agree but see this pattern all the time. The big boys sell the news. They will buy back with it before NDA announcement.

Gerncures on YMB brought up a very important 2020 study looking at ADR-1 and Imetelstat
A while back I was musing about my aunt in the West Village who had 5 separate locks on her door, each with a trick to open. If you didn’t open them all the door stayed shut. If you want to kill a cell you have to open multiple locks. Geron’s telomerase opens one. When used in combination with other...

CRs and PRs
There were CRs and PRs as well as substantial reductions in R/S bone marrow cells. Check out slide 9 of Dr. Santini’s presentation.

Re: Eyes wide open regarding the FDA
Hunt, great post and well researched and supported (thankfully not with conspiracy references recently posted that came from someone on YMB!) I would add a reference you might find interesting: “Empire of Pain” a recent book that looks at the Sackler family and the history of the OxyContin debacle. ...

Re: Eyes wide open regarding the FDA
Hunt, I honestly don’t share your pessimism. There is momentum here and good data both in safety and efficacy. It is easy to be a cynic especially with so many second agenda’s, industry lobbyists, and some government agencies that have lost credibility (read Supreme Court and past presidents), but o...

Kmall, I will write your letter of recommendation, however it could be argued that you have already done priceless work for them and deserve back pay.

Kmall, I have no doubt that Aron et. al. Will be all over it. But will time it in a way that is least likely to piss off the FDA and maximize exposure.

Re: Speaking of the JNJ-74856665 UK Clinical Trial......
Of course combination trials are going on with regard to AML treatments, just not with Imetelstat which is the focus of this board. And they will not go on until the single agent data is studied further. Geron has been clear about that. I do not want anyone to misread or misinterpret your posts to s...

Re: Speaking of the JNJ-74856665 UK Clinical Trial......
LWS, you can think it and you can write it but that does not make it true. These combinations may have very serious side effects and have to be evaluated carefully. There is nothing anywhere to support your contention that these combinations with Imetelstat have been tried in human subjects. If you ...

Anyone remember the last time GS took any kind of an interest in Geron?
If my recollection serves, it was around the time of the NEJM Tefferi article. Once they saw not much spleen response they jumped ship. Looks like they are back on board.

Re: What Geron knows but can not say
LWS, clinical trials mean trials on patients. I highly doubt your supposition that non US trials have been done with Imetelstat and Venetoclax in combination. There is a process for doing these trials and Geron adheres to high ethical standards in preparation and execution.

What Geron knows but can not say
Subtitle: What you know but don’t know that you know (hat tip to Rumsfeld, the real Rumsfeld). What follows is conjecture and opinion. We know now that the Commands study has utility for R/S+ patients and has been compared to ESA’s. We also know the study was used in treatment naive patients, i.e. f...

Re: Principal Statician from JNJ listed as key contributor on ASCO slide deck.....
Kmall, the slide mentions her only as a contributor from Geron, (no mention of J and J), is it not possible that she is just full time at Geron like so many other former Janssen/J and J employees? Or perhaps doing stats for other companies is a side gig allowed in addition to working for a large pha...

Re: Shareholders meeting
Wow HI, looks like there were two questions addressed, yours and mine. Yes you got a murky non answer as usual but can’t blame Dr. S for withholding any specifics. He is going for gold. As to my question, I think the basic message here is that since it probably extends life in MF (hang on for interi...
