Afternoon,
Did any of the awards strike any one as unusually or far to high? Nothing to be worried about?
The timing could be interesting. At least a months grace before the end of Q1, so they can't be accused of insider trading when they announce what has happened with the FDA.

Re: Imet Angels - A grassroots movement
"And the people working on IMET at Janssen now are working at Geron … so what does this tell you ?" Just to play devils advocate. It could mean that JNJ where going to lay them all off as there project had been discontinued and due to all the law suits they had no other projects to move them to and ...

Re: Ash posters
My hopes for ASH this year where none existent. I had assume they would basically skip this year as they have been to busy hiring new staff, starting the P3 and basically rebuilding the company from scratch. The meeting early next year with the FDA and RW data update at a conference is a possibility...

Re: First patient dosed in part II MDS study
Great news.
Still can't get my head around how they can take so long to recruit patients when there is 70 sites involved,
Is it normal for some sites in a trail to not actually recruit? Or only have few people involved over the entire trail length?

Is it normal for it to be released in advance? I don't recall them doing it at this conference before.

Re: A wild hope to keep this board relevent
Thanks again for all your good work as a moderator and for your insights. I had assumed that the lack of activity on this board at the moment is because there was no new information to discus and rehashing was pointless. As we tend to stick to the science rather than the stock price manipulation tha...

Re: New Post on Seeking Alpha
Listening to the conference call, the answer to the second part of the first question was 57 million remaining of the shelf offering. Have they already diluted alot more than the 1.8 million you mention? I agree with you, selling at these prices really does make me doubt that anything good will happ...

Re: Tues conference
The fact that the meetings with the FDA are being widely publicised gives people confidence that nothing unexpected will happen till then. The P3 will start and with the quick turnaround for TI by early next next year they should have enough evidence to get the SP rolling. People making a quick buck...

Re: Hard times for the lowly investor
I have a hope that there is a cunning plan.....
Chip could drop some positive news to counter the dilution vote. Doubt it but possible.
More likely the vote gets passed, stock tanks and then a few months later, with positive news they sell into the spikes.
Anything is possible at the moment.

Re: Confirmation Bias, is there a way through it?
I think that the current lack of vision, partners and combos is holding the share price down and will continue to do so. MDS is funded, MF isn't. I don't think any one expects scarlet to take geron forward with just the MDS trail. That makes further dilution inevitable. I think that the share price ...

Re: compassionate use program?
I got this back this afternoon. Thank you for your interest in Geron, your feedback is appreciated. Compassionate Use, or what is now referred to as 'Right to Try' is not something that Geron is considering at this time. Once the IND transfers back to Geron, which is expected to coincide with the ti...

compassionate use program?
When JnJ added imet to their compassionate use program, was this acknowledged as a mistake? Or was it added because it was needed and then removed due to the business decision. If we assume that it was a business decision that forced it being taken down, should geron be providing access to this unde...

Re: FDA Thoughts on Accelerated Approval
For accelerated approval I thought part of the process was to inspect the manufacturing facilities of the company.
Geron still needs to resolve that question. Out sourcing it to already existing facilities or building there own.
Either means that the approval isn't just around the corner.

Re: Why does Janssen need 12 months to transition the data to Geron & 9 months to start a P3 in MDS?
Gentlemen, Its not data that will take time. Its the on going treatment of the current patients, plans, costing, meetings, back covering, more meetings. Waiting for results from other sites, correlating them and then more meetings. We could read in to any delay all our nightmares, but these things d...
