there was no mention of phase 3 for Imbark which they had done before - we are due for a break

reading the transcript today - without saying it, they are hoping for AA for Imbark - they are obviously following Janssens plan for AML - with such a short MOS for high risk MDS/ AML, we will know rather quickly if it is effective

Geron has 90 days to submit 4th quarter results - will be interesting how far this is pushed out

Geron still hasn't announced the end of year meeting - usually announced by the end of Feb - maybe they are holding off in the hope/expectation they may have so good news to disclose

Scarlett never addressed why JNJ was looking for a pricing manager for imetelstat for AML in addition to MDS and MF - that came out of nowhere - I would like to go to the shareholders meeting to ask him that question - was it a surprise to him or was he aware they were working on something? i think they bailed due to the italian paper on MOS - when it came out there was no chance to refute it or prove it and thus they didn't feel comfortable in committing up to a billion dollars to continue - that killed the deal - the FDA must think there is something here to grant fast track after lo...

everyone got their stock options friday - a little later than years before - now they can let the price come up

if Imbark is approved, it is because they believe it is disease modifying - that would make it front line

if Imbark is active against MF and not only covering symptoms it should not only be approved for those refractory to Jakafi - should be started with Jakafi or before - you dont wait until someone has one foot in the grave before starting a disease modifying compound I think they are going for AML li...

I agree about not addressing the cause - I always think about the May 4th Ct order and what it was regarding that was so unusual about the CRO plan
-could they go for AA for R/R and
-phase 3 for combo/ single agent study - cant see doing a placebo

they aren't going front line because the need is met - they are going after unmet needs because they wants AA and anything less would be a disappointment

Unmet need
- these patients have no hope - so if there ever was an indication for a phase 4 this would be it - maybe we can catch a break for once

i think a phase 3 approval is a no brainer - assumed this once the fast track was designated - was hoping for an early approval - this will decrease the stock price just in time for board members to get their stock options for the year
