Re: Clinical trials site update

Interesting post: Repost from YMB Sdrawkcabeman Although Imerge's P3 was always designed as a double-blind, yesterday's update now indicates: "masked role: participant, investigator." It's either a detail they're just now getting around to updating, or they're putting a polish on it in prep for the ...

Re: hayflicklim post on ymb about NCT01731951

The 12 September Geron PR says about the 9.4: '../.. this arm warrants further investigation because encouraging trends in the efficacy data were observed'. 'Efficacy' means they saw the drug actually improve certain elements of the disease. We can only guess what they exactly saw, because nothing w...

Re: CKTC post link

Do you mean this article: http://www.nature.com/cdd/journal/v12/n ... 1670a.html
Sometimes it gives an internal server error. Maybe if you try a couple of times. With me it worked in the end.

Re: A Comment on Seeking Alpha

Thanks, Hunt. Maybe I was confronting a bit too much, as that also brings the quality down. Btw: on SA quite some posts were deleted lately, also some of mine (which was fully justified...). So they do at least something, which can't be said from the YMB. Relevant posts on SA or YHM certainly should...

Re: A Comment on Seeking Alpha

Hi Hip, I appreciate your advice. I try to respond less, but sometimes I just can't bare to see how just a couple of people are deliberately distorting such high quality board. Maybe I should follow your advice and ignore them completely. When data come out (or other kind of news) the real discussio...

Re: Incyte SEC filing

I don't see a direct link with GERN. It is not even said that the will actually sell those shares, just that they may. There is no timing connected, so we don't know how and when they will sell, if at all.

Re: Can an AML study be announced before 2nd interim review?

Hi rob, I don't think an AML trial will be anmnounced before Q2 review. This is for two reasons: JnJ wnats to include all data of the current trials (IMbark, IMegre, Mayo Pilot) to be included into the decission making of any AML trial, especially regarding dosing (see email Anna). Secondly, my gues...

Re: Confusing

Sargasso, thanks for these relevant questions. Scarlett indeed announced some time ago that JnJ (not Geron!) was going to present the results of Imbark, IMerge and all other data from the full imetelstat program to a regulatory authority (FDA, EMA,...). Btw: this is not about submission for approval...

Re: Imetelstat differentially affects normal and malignant megakaryopoiesis'

bio, I believe you were not impressed by this article. Why is that? The suppressing of fibrogenic growth factors sounds pretty relevant, as it is a very nasty feature of the disease. It also a kind of confirms that imetelstat may reverse fibrosis or prevent it from occurring in the first place. Or a...

"Imetelstat (GRN163L) is a specific telomerase inhibitor which has demonstrated clinical activity in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) and...

Re: YMB and SA have been seriously corrupted

Some have got a bit depressed indeed, although I think the venetoclax paper was fairly valued as being positive. Off course there were questions regarding how long it would take before such trials would start, and if they could start before imetelstat would be approved as a single drug. Maybe JnJ ha...

Re: YMB and SA have been seriously corrupted

SA has some great posters. It is interesting to see how negativity takes its turn just when real exciting things may happen on the short term (Q2). Let's stay focussed on the facts and information we can find. Critical discussions are important, as long we use arguments. Let's make sure we can proce...

Re: Geron 10-k / 2016, filed 3 Jan 2017

Nice post from sdrawkcabeman (YHMB): "Things are coming to a head in a few short months. It's taken a rather circuitous path to get here, between the 2014 hold and its release, the silence on the AML front, and the unexpected 2016 review. But we are finally here. In hindsight, IMbark's focus on R/R ...
