IMO it's a safety loan. Getting a full recruitment is stalled because of the CV-19 pandemic, and the safety concerns for the potential patients, not for lack of applicants. If it goes on longer than the optimistic projection (s), funds will be needed to "keep the machine running"; But I yield to tho...

Simply stated: this puzzles the heck out of me. I had assumed that the last offering was totally sufficient to cover the trial to it's conclusion with all the assorted odds and ends........and ....enough left over to actually fund a marketing plan. Wondering how JnJ saw Imetelstat as a "Billion dollar" pipeline drug.

I know this is an intellectual, pseudo scientific endeavor here........never the less, even knowing it was coming...this is hard to take with a smile. My original investment in this over the course of 6 years has been halved and halved again. Ah...I'll delete this posting.

The specific pathway of this enzyme.....are there any other compounds in development by other companies that strive to achieve the same effect of telomere manipulation? Understand the patent restrictions owned by the company. But I imagine, ( and that is the question, really), that, somewhere, some ...

Irrespective of the results, the drug, it's pathway is unique. Certainly would seem like an extreme bargain buy right now. 4 or 5 a share would probably do it.

FWIW: IMO.....Ultimately I believe that it was for these very reasons that JnJ decided to withdraw. The "Billion dollar pipeline: that they touted at their press conferences regarding the potential revenue stream for Imetestat, was, apparently, grossly miscalculated. And the "competing" trials, dire...
