Re: Introduction
Mr. Ligas, I did not say that at all. Why are you saying it? I clearly said John is not infusing imetelstat anymore - Repeat: I did not mention anyone else and do not speak for anyone else. I also said (again) John did not stop because of efficacy. I also said (again) John is doing much worse now fo...

Hi Fish and Bio / Well look who is here...ligas. Hmmm... I want to clarify for both of you, fish and bio, and other longs to best of my ability. Not sure why Anna would say anything in this regard because out of her wheelhouse and it seems to me JJ does most decision-making. I do remember ligas attr...

Re: Shine a light!!
Thank you! You make an elegant and persuasive argument. On behalf of John, Joanne, the 10-year old, and so many more, thank you! I like the idea of questions at the annual meeting. As our granddaughter now 3 says (some will remember she was born 6 months after John started the Mayo pilot): Great idea...

Re: Introduction
Hi bio - thanks for your response. No, there is no provision for John. I just plan to demand it. Sadly, at this juncture the only way for John to continue to infuse Imetelstat again at optimal dose is for it to get approved. So here's to fast track, BTD, accelerated first line treatment for all of u...

Re: Introduction
Yes, that initial pilot does remain important. I read the SA board regularly and am tempted to respond to every other post - especially the negative ones - but also to my friends like hoosier, ptca, fish, taz, bio (and all the good guys you know who you are) - to add color to their comments.I used t...

Re: Geron PR confimrs: Both IMerge and IMbark Continue in Lower Risk MDS and Relapsed or Refractory MF
Yes, he is leaving pilot study. Multiple factors none related to effect of imetelstat. Include but not limited to JJ not approving 9.4 at this time for some pilot patients (since he was not on that dose when he left study and so had to resume at same lower dose). Not wanting to travel to MN for 5th ...

Thank you, bio. It is a great day for the "believers" and cancer patients. Our burden was much lightened by all the excellent information shared by all and kind words offered. Celebrate!!!

Re: Geron PR confimrs: Both IMerge and IMbark Continue in Lower Risk MDS and Relapsed or Refractory MF
Today is our anniversary and we received a wonderful gift- the imetelstat good news made official. John has lived a very good, completely normal life for 4 years thanks to Imetelstat scientists, researchers, investors, and believers. He was one of the very sick patients (high or intermediate-high-ri...

Re: Why the AML trial didn't start in 2016
It does seem that imetelstat marches on behind the scenes and the Imerge and Imbark studies are foundational. Perhaps, in a few weeks, we will finally be beyond imetelstat. Stayin' alive for the cause.

Re: Why I think April is a possibility
Hi Bio, First I want to reminisce about how you were the 1st one to jump in and counter some of the attacks I received when I first very tentatively posted on the old yahoo board all those years ago when the first Mayo pilot study "news" was so good and unprecedented. Since then, I think many patien...

Re: Why I think April is a possibility
Hello Imetelstat Friends - I would also hope that we have news in April. April 2017 will be 4 years since John had his 1st infusion in the Mayo pilot study. Remember he took the last seat in the pilot and all subsequent participants were ad hoc. John returned from Mayo MN last week and completed his...

Re: Mayo study CT site update
Yes. All good news for irishtrader spouse. We never doubted JJ will extend treatment as long as needed and it is working until day of happy approval. This is our red letter day! The day John does not have to travel 2000 miles every 3 weeks for treatement. Robs a lot of valuable time that is a wastin...

Re: Competitive threats to imetelstat
Yes, Imetelstat has a uniquely deep response. There is response on both the morphological and molecular levels. In the Mayo pilot study, their was repair at the chromosomal level including some patients with 100% response at chromosonal level. Imetelstat has the markings of a truly transformative dr...

Hi Bio and Fish, Great posts and accurate comments. Fish, your posts are always outstanding. I am grateful for the time you dedicate to it. Thank you. Yes, it is my understanding all good behind the scenes. Why JJ does not share more information befuddles me. I can only speculate that after the 2013...

Re: MotleyFool: Here Are Johnson & Johnson's Next 10 Potential Blockbuster Drugs
I agree with the points made in this article. Imetelstat is unique and still working in John and other patients from the pilot study with intermediate and high risk MF. Keep in mind John and others have been on Imetelstat for more than 3 years and some almost 4 years. This is unprecedented. John jus...

Re: Questions I continue to have
These are such good questions and I can assure you that many friends at Mayo including me ask the same ones. I am also cynical enough now to suggest that Johnson could care less about the patients and this is the 'big pharma' game. That said, it is still working for John since April 13 and it seems ...

Fish and Bio - One fact we do know. A large amount of data over a long period of time was collected and is in the vaults. And, they keep collecting it.
