Re: New patent

In the US, doctors don't concern themselves with the cost of the treatment. They are afraid of being sued for multiple millions for malpractice for failing to prescribe the best available treatment for a patient. The insurance companies are concerned with the price but the limited number of patients...

Re: Yesterday volume 15 mln, AH 5 mln: what happened?

Part 2 - I hit submit without mentioning that there were over 5,500 $5 call options expiring on Friday (550,000 shares) that the holders would have been willing to sell had the share price approached within a few pennies that number, providing a buffer allowing the shorts to agree to a price near th...

Re: My take on Geron's strategy in the JnJ partnership

The partnership with Janssen is limited to Imetelstat only. It is very clear from the agreement that any use of Imetelstat would have to include Janssen. I would like to see activity partnering with other big pharma companies rather than limiting the business relationship to J&J only. The value of a...

Re: Geron: Calcualting the Potential Value Gap

The value gap exists because there is currently no Geron product on the market (ignoring the relatively small license fees for diagnostic tests) and the stock is being actively manipulated by the people that are currently short 31 million shares. It is hard to place a firm number on the size of the ...
